SURVEY SHOWS INNER CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP DOES DELIVER “BETTER BUSINESS – RICHER LIFE” FOR BUSINESS OWNERS AND CEO’S

CLEVELAND, OH, March 3, 2009 – Inner Circle®, a franchisor of peer advisory groups exclusively for CEOs and owners of privately held businesses, has released the results of a nationwide membership survey conducted in the Fall of 2008.  Inner Circle of Northern New England franchise owner, Dr. Donald Sweet, lead the survey project in his capacity as adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire.  The results will be featured in a research paper that examines whether or not peer group membership has a direct correlation to positive business results.

“The results of our Inner Circle member survey substantiate what earlier research has also found: people who join peer groups report a higher level of performance,” stated Sweet.  “Of members who have been with Inner Circle for one year or more, 97% reported better decision making ability, 75% reported higher revenues and profits, and 71% reported a better work/life balance.”

“The survey results tell us we are fulfilling our mission to deliver Better Business - Richer Life for our Inner Circle members,” stated Kylene Golubski, Brand Manager and Vice President of Business Development at Inner Circle corporate headquarters.  “Our proprietary Vision Quest process, focus on member accountability and professional meeting facilitation strongly differentiate us from other peer groups concepts and deliver a quantifiable return on investment for our members.”

Inner Circles members are CEOs/owners of non-competing businesses who meet monthly in a facilitated, confidential environment.  Topics discussed during Inner Circle meetings are as varied as Members’ companies and include: surviving during an economic slowdown; product and service line diversification; dealing with the special dynamics of family-run businesses; re-branding a product/service; employee compensation plans; and marketing strategy development.
